Eastern Washington University's, Family Resource and Training
Center (FRTC) invites applications for a 12-months per year, 100% Program
Assistant.
Position is located at the FRTC in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. Position is 100% funded under a grant with many years of successful annual renewals; grant funded positions are considered project positions.

Under general supervision, this position will provide
specialized clerical support for the FRTC; the specialized clerical tasks require
knowledge and experience specific to the FRTC program. Position will provide support
to off-site personnel by assisting with daily administrative office needs;
provide general program information pertaining to policies, procedures and
activities to participants, Idaho Department of Health and Welfare and/or
members of the public. Other inquiries are referred to the Director or other
relevant staff member.

Conditions of
Employment
This position, during
the course of university employment will be involved in the receipt of, or
accountability for, university funds or other items of value; as well as the
unsupervised access with the developmentally disabled, vulnerable adults or
children under the age of 16. The offer of employment is contingent upon
successful completion and passing of a background check prior to beginning
employment.
Requirements
Required
Qualifications:

High school graduation or equivalent AND
·
Two years experiences full-time clerical experience.
·
Strong computer skills as described under required computer
skills.
·
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
·
Strong organizational skills including the ability to support
several individuals at once.
·
Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to serve as a
program liaison with multiple internal and external entities.
·
Superior customer service ability including the ability to
perceive needs and appropriate respond to highly diverse constituencies
(students, faculty, state agencies, private practitioners, vendors, campus
constituencies, administrators, etc.).
·
Ability to prioritize within a complex work environment
including overlapping job requirements, multiple deadlines, projects of varying
